Founded in 1998, Satori aims to provide a positive and sustainable perspective on skateboarding. For decades, this skate brand has stood for sustainability in the skateboard industry. Satori is the first to recycle used wheels to make new ones.
Their concept is unique, because urethane cannot be melted down like other plastics. It took years of focus and innovation to develop the "Relife" program of recycled wheels. Relife wheels are made with over 60% recycled urethane. Satori also incorporates vegetarian oil into some formulas. Thus, they limit the use of petroleum oil in urethane.
