This versatile all-mountain ski combines the strength of titanal with the liveliness of carbon for a stable and responsive ride. The Power Woodcore, made of ash and poplar wood, provides extra control and damping, while the HRZN 3D tip helps you move more easily through soft and rutted snow. With its 88 mm waist and All Mountain Rocker, the Maverick 88 CTI is right at home in a wide range of conditions. Ideal for skiers seeking precision without losing their playful edge.

Terrain: All-Mountain & Piste

The Maverick 88 CTI really shines on groomed runs, where its sturdy construction and precise edge grip inspire confidence. Even when the snow gets softer or you find yourself off-piste, it remains controlled and agile. The 88 mm waist offers a nice balance between quick edge changes and extra support in varying snow conditions. For deep powder, a wider freeride ski is more suitable.

Profile: All Mountain Rocker 15/75/10

The All Mountain Rocker profile combines 75% camber with 15% rocker at the tip and 10% rocker at the tail. The camber provides solid edge grip and a powerful rebound while carving. The early-rise tip makes it easier to initiate turns and helps you move more smoothly through softer snow. The limited tail rocker maintains sufficient effective edge contact for stability and control on hard slopes.

Shape & Sidecut: Directional All-Mountain

The directional shape of the Maverick 88 CTI is designed for powerful turns and controlled forward skiing. At a length of 172 cm, it has dimensions of 123-88-108 mm and a turning radius of 16 meters. This allows the ski to be easily maneuvered through medium-length turns, while offering sufficient stability to execute longer carved turns as well. The wider tip enhances float in soft snow, while the narrower tail ensures precise turn initiation.

Flex & Construction

The Maverick 88 CTI has a sporty, relatively firm flex profile that provides sufficient support at higher speeds. The Power Woodcore combines ash and poplar wood for a good balance between stability, responsiveness, and vibration damping. Carbon and titanal reinforce the construction and ensure direct power transfer without making the ski unnecessarily heavy. The Duracap Sidewall extends from the base to the topsheet and combines strong edge grip with a rounded, durable finish.

Level: Advanced to Expert

This ski is primarily aimed at advanced and experienced skiers who enjoy active skiing and have the technique to apply pressure to the edges. The CTI construction rewards a sporty skiing style with stability, precision, and a lively response. Technically strong intermediate skiers looking to improve their skills can also grow with this ski. For absolute beginners or those who want to cruise leisurely, a more flexible all-mountain ski is a better fit.

Technologies: CTI Powered & HRZN 3D

CTI Powered combines carbon and titanal to blend agility and stability. A shorter length makes the ski more maneuverable during short turns, moguls, and technical sections. A longer length offers more stability at high speeds and extra support in softer snow. The turning radius ranges from 15 meters for the 159 cm model to 17 meters for the 186 cm model. Choose your length based on your build, weight, skill level, and preferred terrain.

Bindings & Setup

The Atomic Maverick 88 CTI 2027 comes without bindings.
