Lousy Livin is a German skateboard brand founded by the artist and amateur skater Stefan Marx. He grew up in a small rural village near Hamburg, but now his clothing and art can be found in every major German city and even far beyond. This skater, artist and photographer started the company as an expression of his creative soul. Still only 17 at the time, he didn't like anything better than to do some drawing on t-shirts. That's why he had the company registered as Lousy Livin, because he didn't take the company/brand too seriously. But with the help and insights of his best skateboard buddies, it became much more than a lousy skateboard brand. His sentiment then was, like with many artists, all over the place. But once his focus was on the right place, he became famous as an artist AND his brand is now an integral part of the skateboard scene. Stefan Marx is also known for his drawings on Cleptomanicx and Smallville Records.
