Burton Custom Faded Snowboard

Shape

Directional - with this shape, the binding is positioned more to the rear, giving the board a longer nose. This makes the snowboard perfect for freeride and all-mountain riding, giving you more float in powder.

Rocker Type

Camber- A snowboard with camber sees an upward curve between the bindings, while the nose and tail stay on the ground. This gives you more grip on snow and more control while carving. A camber snowboard also allows you to make turns easily and reach higher speeds. It is perfect for experienced snowboarders who like to ride on the slopes and gain speed.

Flex rating

6/10-Witha flexibility rating of 4.5 to 6.5, these snowboards are stable on the piste and offer enough flexibility for the park. It is the perfect balance between stability and forgiveness.

Core

Super Fly II™ 700G Core with Dualzone™ EGD™-This lightweight wood core combines different woods for an optimal ratio of weight, strength and responsiveness. Dualzone™ EGD™ construction improves edge hold and provides added control.

Base

Sintered WFO base - fast, durable and with high wax absorption. This means more speed and better glide, even in less than ideal snow conditions.

Binding Compatibility

Channel - The Channel system is a relatively new system and is mainly used by Burton. With this system, there are two long slots on the top of the snowboard, in which you can place your bindings. The advantage of this is that you can easily adjust the bindings without having to disassemble the whole board.

Intermediate|Advanced - Intermediate and advanced snowboards are designed for most snowboarders who are more experienced and looking for new challenges and thrills on the slopes.
