The high-quality wood core, durable Hyper Glide S Base, and accessible Low Camber profile ensure that young riders can build confidence with ease. From the first turns on the practice slope to small freestyle tricks: with the Minishred, the snowboarding adventure really begins. Small board, big dreams!

Flex

1/10 - Discover the versatility of a snowboard with a soft flex between 1 and 4. These snowboards are perfect for beginner snowboarders, thanks to their forgiveness and flexibility. With their playful nature, these boards are ideal for slopestyle tricks, rails, and for the freestyle snowboarder who loves to have fun on the slopes.

Shape

True Twin—a snowboard with a true twin shape, like this Bataleon Minishred 2027, is not only great for regular use on the slopes but also perfect for the snow park. These snowboards have a perfectly symmetrical shape, with the nose and tail being exactly the same length. Additionally, the flex and camber are identical in both the nose and tail of the snowboard. With this shape, you can easily switch between goofy and regular riding. With this shape, you’ll enjoy a combination of the flexibility of a twin-tip and the stability of a directional board, ensuring a smooth ride on any slope.

3BT™ & SideKick™

The Minishred utilizes Bataleon’s renowned Triple Base Technology (3BT™), combined with SideKick™. In this innovative construction, the bottom of the snowboard is divided into a flat center section and two slightly upward-curved sides. Because the sides of the base rise slightly, the contact points are less likely to get unexpectedly caught in the snow. This makes it easier for young snowboarders to initiate turns and reduces the chance of them suddenly catching an edge while practicing.

Rocker Type

Low Camber—On a camber snowboard, you’ll see an upward curve between the bindings, while the nose and tail remain on the ground. This gives you more grip on the snow and greater control while carving. A camber snowboard also makes it easy to turn and reach higher speeds. It’s perfect for experienced snowboarders who enjoy riding on the slopes and want to pick up speed.

Compared to an aggressive camber profile, this lower camber feels smoother and easier to control at lower speeds. At the same time, the board retains enough responsiveness and energy to support young snowboarders as their technique improves.

Combined with the 3BT™ construction, the result is a snowboard that blends the benefits of traditional camber with an accessible and playful character. This allows kids to practice their first turns without the snowboard feeling too demanding.

Core

Core Core - Bataleon’s Core Core Woodcore is specially designed for the Kids Minishred snowboard. This core consists of poplar wood with hardwood beech stringers, providing a strong and stable backbone for the snowboard.

Base

Hyper Glide S - The Hyper Glide S Base is Bataleon’s standard sintered base, offering durability and unmatched speed. This base is harder and delivers higher speeds on the mountain. Be sure to wax your board regularly to get the most out of this base’s speed and performance.
