Description
Flex
8/10 - The Nidecker Kita snowboard boot has a stiff flex. This boot offers optimal support while snowboarding and is designed for those who love to race down the mountain at high speeds. With its stiff construction, this snowboard boot ensures maximum power transfer and precision.
Lacing System
Dual BOA® WrapStrap - The Kita 2027 uses Nidecker’s new Dual BOA® WrapStrap system. This combines two separately adjustable zones with an integrated power strap. The upper part of the laces and the built-in WrapStrap are operated using a BOA® H5 Coiler. This distributes pressure evenly across the upper part of the boot, allowing you to securely fasten your foot and ankle. The WrapStrap functions as an integrated power strap, providing the stiff Kita with even more support and responsiveness.
Footbed
3D Summit—This two-part insole combines EVA and TPE foam with an injected TPU support around the heel. The result is a technical footbed that does much more than just provide a soft layer under your foot. The TPU heel support provides extra structure around the back of your foot, while the construction also supports the stability of your arch. This helps keep your foot more stable in the boot when you apply a lot of pressure during powerful carves or hard landings.
Sole
Vibram® Approach 2.0—Nidecker uses different compounds in strategic locations on this premium sole. The heel features a stiffer Vibram Durastep compound, while Vibram ICE-TREK is used under the forefoot. New Traction Lugs provide extra grip there. This is especially useful once you step out of your bindings. Think of walking across a slippery parking lot, an icy staircase leading to the lift, or a stretch of bootpacking toward a freeride line. The Vibram sole is designed to provide plenty of grip in those kinds of conditions.
Binding Type
Rear Entry—The Nidecker Kita Snowboard Boots 2027 are ideal for use with rear-entry snowboard bindings. The boot’s construction has been specifically optimized for smooth entry and exit from speed-entry systems such as the Nidecker Supermatic®.The streamlined rear of the boot plays a key role here. The Exo Spine flows seamlessly into the outsole via Nidecker’s Transition Zone™, minimizing the amount of material that could catch behind your binding’s heel cup when stepping in.
Rider Level
Snowboard boots for riders at this level are generally on the stiffer end of the spectrum, offering extra control and precision while snowboarding. These boots are designed for experienced snowboarders who want to get the most out of their performance.
