Description

The Tecnica Mach BOA HV 120 2027 Progressive Green ski boots are designed for advanced skiers who want to combine powerful performance with a roomy fit. With a flex rating of 120 and a wide last of 103 mm, this all-mountain performance boot offers solid support for athletic skiing. The BOA Fit System ensures a precisely adjustable fit around the forefoot, while the anatomically shaped High Volume shell provides extra space. Thanks to the Ecodesign Performance C.A.S. liner, C.A.S. Shell, and Quick Instep, this model is particularly appealing to skiers with wider feet who don’t want to compromise on control and power transfer.

Flex: 120

With a flex index of 120, this Tecnica ski boot offers firm, sporty support. The relatively stiff construction ensures direct power transfer and stability during powerful turns and at higher speeds.

This flex is particularly well-suited for skiers who have sufficient technique and strength to actively engage the boot. For relaxed recreational skiing, the stiffness may be less suitable.

Fit & Last Width: High Volume – 103 mm

The Mach BOA HV 120 features a wide fit with a nominal last width of 103 mm. This High Volume construction is particularly well-suited for skiers with a wider forefoot or a larger foot volume.

The anatomically shaped shell works in conjunction with the BOA Fit System to evenly envelop the foot. This allows the boot to combine extra interior space with precisely adjustable support.

Your instep height, heel shape, and overall foot volume also determine the final fit. The specified last width is a nominal value and varies with the Mondopoint size.

Closure System: BOA Fit System

The Tecnica Mach BOA HV 120 features a single BOA Fit System on the lower shell. The dial allows you to precisely adjust the tension around the forefoot and instep.

Two micro-adjustable aluminum buckles secure the cuff around the lower leg. A 45 mm Velcro Power Strap provides extra support at the top and reinforces the contact between your shin and the ski boot.

Liner & Footbed: Ecodesign Performance C.A.S.

The Ecodesign Performance C.A.S. liner features an anatomically shaped construction with targeted support around the foot and ankle.

Thanks to Tecnica’s C.A.S. technology, the liner can be professionally customized to the individual foot shape. This makes it possible to further refine the heel closure and local pressure distribution.

Shell & Cuff: C.A.S. Shell & Quick Instep

The polyurethane C.A.S. Shell combines a supportive construction with options for targeted boot fitting. Thanks to its anatomical shape and C.A.S. technology, specific areas can be professionally adjusted.

The Quick Instep construction uses softer material around the instep to make putting the boot on and taking it off easier.

The Bi-Injected PP cuff provides firm support and controlled forward flex. The standard forward lean is 12 degrees.

Sole & Binding Compatibility: GripWalk

The pre-mounted GripWalk soles comply with the ISO 23223 standard. They offer extra grip and a more natural rolling motion when walking off-piste.

These ski boots are compatible with bindings that are explicitly compatible with GripWalk. Not every traditional alpine binding supports this type of sole. Therefore, always have compatibility with your specific binding checked and have the binding professionally adjusted.

Level: Advanced – Expert

These Tecnica ski boots are particularly suited for advanced to highly experienced skiers who enjoy powerful and dynamic skiing.

The 120 flex provides firm support for active carving, higher speeds, and sporty all-mountain descents. Thanks to its wide fit, this model is ideal for skiers who need more interior space than a classic narrow performance boot offers.

Size Guide: Mondopoint & Fit

Choose your ski boot based on your foot length in centimeters, expressed in Mondopoint. Your regular European shoe size is only a guideline.

With this wide Mach BOA fit, your forefoot width, instep height, and heel volume are also important. The boot must provide sufficient space without allowing your heel to move unnecessarily. A ski boot that’s too large can cause extra foot movement and reduce control.

Stoked Boot Fitting Advice

At Stoked in Halle, we particularly recommend this Tecnica model to athletic skiers with wider feet or a higher foot volume who are looking for firm support. We pay special attention to the heel closure, pressure distribution across the instep, and the fit of the BOA closure. Thanks to the C.A.S. Shell, the adjustable Ecodesign Performance C.A.S. liner, and optional supportive insoles, we can specifically optimize the fit wherever the construction and your foot shape allow.
