Description

The Tecnica Mach1 HV 120 TD 2027 Black/Orange ski boots are designed for advanced skiers who want to combine powerful performance with a roomy fit. With a flex rating of 120 and a wide last of 103 mm, this performance ski boot offers solid support for sporty on-piste skiing and all-mountain use. T-Drive technology ensures efficient power transfer and responsive flex, while the four micro-adjustable aluminum buckles provide a precise fit around the foot. Thanks to the anatomical C.A.S. Shell, the customizable Ecodesign Performance C.A.S. liner, and Quick Instep, this model is particularly appealing to skiers with wider feet who don’t want to compromise on precision and control.

Flex: 120

With a flex index of 120, this Tecnica ski boot offers firm, sporty support. The relatively stiff construction ensures stability during powerful turns, quick edge changes, and higher speeds.

T-Drive technology connects the cuff to the shell and supports efficient energy transfer. This provides a controlled, progressive flex with a responsive rebound. An excellent choice for skiers who have the technique and strength to actively engage the boot.

Fit & Last Width: High Volume – 103 mm

The Mach1 HV 120 TD features a wide fit with a nominal last width of 103 mm. This High Volume construction is particularly appealing to skiers with a wider forefoot or greater foot volume who are looking for extra interior space without sacrificing support.

The anatomically shaped C.A.S. Shell provides a supportive foundation, while the matching liner helps to precisely envelop the foot. The roomier last makes this model a good choice when a classic medium-performance boot offers too little space.

Your instep height, heel shape, and overall foot volume also determine the final fit. The specified last width is a nominal value and varies with the Mondopoint size.

Closure System: 4 Micro-Adjustable Aluminum Buckles

The Tecnica Mach1 HV 120 TD features four micro-adjustable aluminum buckles that allow you to independently adjust the tension around the foot and lower leg.

Thanks to the Lift Lock system, the buckles remain in an open position while putting on and taking off the boots. This makes them easier to use without compromising the precise adjustment of a classic buckle closure.

A 45 mm Velcro Power Strap provides extra support at the top of the cuff and enhances contact between your shin and the ski boot.

Liner & Footbed: Ecodesign Performance C.A.S.

The Ecodesign Performance C.A.S. liner features an anatomically shaped construction with targeted support around the heel and ankle. Thanks to C.A.S. technology, the liner can be professionally thermo-molded for a more precise fit to the individual foot shape.

The Floating Tongue allows you to fine-tune the position of the tongue over the instep. Celliant material is integrated into the liner, while the insulating material construction contributes to thermal comfort on cold ski days.

The combination of support and adjustable materials makes this liner particularly appealing for a personalized performance fit.

Shell & Cuff: C.A.S. Shell & T-Drive

The polyurethane shell and cuff combine a sturdy construction with direct power transfer. The T-Drive technology at the rear connects both components and supports lateral stability and progressive flex while skiing.

The anatomical C.A.S. Shell is designed with specific zones that can be professionally adjusted to accommodate the foot’s shape. This allows for targeted relief of local pressure points without unnecessarily altering the overall fit.

Thanks to Quick Instep, the material around the instep is more flexible, making it easier to put the boot on and take it off.

Sole & Binding Compatibility: GripWalk

The pre-mounted GripWalk soles comply with the ISO 23223 standard. They offer extra grip and a more natural rolling motion when walking off-piste.

These ski boots are compatible with ski bindings that are explicitly designed for GripWalk. Not all traditional alpine bindings support this type of sole. Therefore, always have the compatibility of your specific binding checked and have the binding professionally adjusted.

Level: Advanced – Expert

These Tecnica ski boots are particularly suited for advanced to highly experienced skiers who enjoy powerful and dynamic skiing.

The 120 flex and T-Drive construction provide firm support for active carving, higher speeds, and sporty all-mountain descents. Thanks to the High Volume fit, this model is ideal for skiers who need more room than a classic narrow performance boot offers.

For relaxed, recreational skiing, this stiffer construction may be less suitable.

Size Guide: Mondopoint & Fit

Choose your ski boot based on your foot length in centimeters, expressed in Mondopoint. Your regular European shoe size is only a guideline.

With this wide Mach1 fit, your forefoot width, instep height, and heel volume are also important. The boot should provide enough room without allowing your heel to move unnecessarily.

A new performance ski boot may feel snug, but a size that’s too large can cause extra foot movement and reduce control. Therefore, don’t automatically choose a larger size just because you feel pressure somewhere.

Stoked Boot Fitting Advice

At Stoked in Halle, we especially recommend this Tecnica model to athletic skiers with wider feet or higher foot volume who are looking for firm support and direct power transfer. We pay extra attention to the heel closure, the space over the instep, and the pressure distribution around the forefoot. Thanks to the C.A.S. Shell, the thermoformable Ecodesign Performance C.A.S. liner, the Floating Tongue, and optional supportive insoles, we can specifically optimize the fit wherever the construction and your foot shape allow.
