Description
The Jones Mountain Twin is a true all-rounder for riders who want to ride the whole mountain like it's their personal playground. This Directional Twin is designed for freestyle enthusiasts with an adventurous side - whether you're pulling turns through trees, taking sidehits or riding powder after a dump, the Mountain Twin feels right at home everywhere. Thanks to the CamRock profile mix of camber and rocker, the board is lively, playful yet stable when needed. This board is packed with sustainable materials, built with solar power AND finished with Wend Bio Wax for use right out of the box.
Shape
Directional Twin - This shape combines features of both a directional and twin board. It has a symmetrical shape (twin) in terms of the nose and tail around the bindings, which provides balance for freestyle moves such as spins or switch riding. However, outside the bindings, the nose may be slightly longer than the tail, or the flex may differ from front to back, making the board more suitable for all-mountain riding in one direction. This makes the board versatile, performance oriented in different snow conditions and still suitable for park riding.
Rocker Type
CamRock - a unique rocker/camber flex pattern, provides a balanced tip and tail rocker with camber between the bindings, keeping your tips playful and maintaining the power and pop of camber under your feet.
Flex rating
6/10 - With a flex rating of 4.5 to 6.5, these snowboards are stable on the slopes and offer plenty of flexibility for the park. It is the perfect balance between stability and forgiveness.
Core
Master Core with Biax Fiberglass and BComp carbon/flax stringers -. the combination of Master Core, Biax Fiberglass and BComp carbon/flax stringers provides a light, lively and stable Ride with natural damping and powerful response. Exactly what you're looking for in a versatile all-mountain or freeride freestyle snowboard.
Base
Sintered 8000 Base - this base provides durability and superior gliding performance
Binding compatibility
2x4 - This system is the most common pattern for snowboards today. Two rows of inserts are provided that are 2 inches apart. This allows for different stand widths. To attach your snowboard binding, you need four screws in the 2x4 system.
Terrain
All-Mountain|Freestyle - This Freestyle All-Mountain snowboard from Jones is a versatile snowboard suitable for all-mountain exploration. With its combination of stable all-mountain characteristics and flexibility in nose and tail reinforced by a twin shape, this board is perfect for the adventurous snowboarder.
Rider level
Intermediate|Advanced - Intermediate and advanced snowboards are designed for most snowboarders who are more experienced and looking for new challenges and thrills on the slopes. These snowboards usually have a stronger core and are often wider and stiffer than snowboards for beginners. They are ideal for snowboarders looking for more speed, stability and control at higher speeds and on steeper slopes.
