Description
The Capita Outerspace Living is made for riders who want to explore the whole resort and upgrade their skills. Lightweight, super versatile and with a fine blend of freestyle playfulness and freeride control. The Multizone Dual Core provides stability at speed and extra feel with every turn or jump. Perfect for the intermediate rider ready to explore new lines - both on and off-piste.
Shape
Directional Twin - This shape combines features of both a directional and twin board. It has a symmetrical shape (twin) in terms of the nose and tail around the bindings, which provides balance for freestyle moves such as spins or switch riding. However, outside the bindings, the nose may be slightly longer than the tail, or the flex may differ from front to back, making the board more suitable for all-mountain riding in one direction. This makes the board versatile, performance-oriented in different snow conditions and still suitable for park riding.
Rocker Type
Resort V3 Profile - this profile has a raised camber platform between the inserts to maintain high-speed edge hold on variable terrain, raised contact points to land and float in powder, and traditional tip and tail arcs for smoother transitions.
Flex rating
5/10 - With a flexibility rating of 4.5 to 6.5, these snowboards are stable on the piste and offer enough flexibility for the park. It is the perfect balance between stability and forgiveness.
Core
Multizone Dual Core™. – a poppy lightweight Poplar core combined with beechwood for increased strength and durability. Newly designed to taper between inserts for a more forgiving flex.
Base
Superdrive™ Base - this base adopts the properties and manufacturing techniques of extruded base materials, but through higher pressure and temperature, increases the surface hardness almost equal to most sintered bases. This increases durability and surface strength, creating a base that will be more durable during jibbing and tearing on the mountain, while still maintaining a low-maintenance and worry-free board life.
Binding compatibility
2x4 - This system is the most common pattern for snowboards today. Two rows of inserts are provided that are 2 inches apart. This allows for different stand widths. To attach your snowboard binding, you need four screws in the 2x4 system.
Terrain
All-Mountain|Freestyle - This Freestyle All-Mountain snowboard from Capita is a versatile snowboard suitable for all-mountain exploration. Thanks to the combination of the stable all-mountain characteristics and the flexibility in nose and tail also reinforced by a twin shape, this board is perfect for the adventurous snowboarder.
Rider level
Intermediate|Advanced - Intermediate and advanced snowboards are designed for most snowboarders who are more experienced and looking for new challenges and thrills on the slopes. These snowboards usually have a stronger core and are often wider and stiffer than snowboards for beginners. They are ideal for snowboarders looking for more speed, stability and control at higher speeds and on steeper slopes.
