The Lib Tech Skunk Ape Ultra Wide 2026 snowboard is the all-mountain freeride machine for riders with big boots (EU 44+) who want to combine drift-friendliness, float and stability with pop and grip on any terrain. This board is perfect for pow, piste and steep freeride lines - and this second chance version is technically in excellent condition, professionally checked and ready to ride.
Shape
Directional - with this shape the binding is a bit more backwards so your snowboard has a longer nose. As the name suggests, this is primarily a freeride|all-mountain snowboard that gives you more float in powder.
Rocker Type
C3 Camber - this composition has dominant camber all the way to the contact points and mild rocker between your feet. For aggressive, experienced snowboarders.
Flex Rating
7/10- Going hard on the slopes is no problem with the stiffest snowboards. This hard flex offers the highest response and support. A powerful snowboard for powerful snowboarders.
Core
Aspen/Paulownia Wood Core.
Lib Tech combines Paulownia and Aspen in the core for:
-
durable torsional rigidity
-
lively pop and rebound
-
light weight without performance loss
This core keeps your board lively on the slopes, but also provides sufficient stability in freeride conditions.
Base
Eco Sublimated Sintered - the base was made with a double layer of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene. This is optimal for wax retention and toughness with a white, titanium underlayer that reflects light and heat. This keeps the base around the snow temperature at all times.
Binding Compatibility
4×4 / 2×4
Terrain
All-Mountain|Freeride|Freestyle - with this snowboard you can really handle everything. So it is suitable for all-mountain, playful enough for freestyle and stiff enough for freeride. A versatile beast for every snowboarder.
Rider Level
Intermediate|Advanced - Most snowboarders fall into this level. These snowboards are ideal if you are looking for new sensations. They usually have a stronger core and also tend to be wider and stiffer than beginner snowboards.
