One Ball Waxing Brush Kit

The Wax Brush Kit makes sure your base is instantly tight and fast as soon as your snowboard or skis hit the snow. You need edges that are smooth, sharp and rust free. And you need wax on the base. The Basic Kit gets the job done.

Information on brush types:

• Nylon: For hard waxing, wax texturing and removing old wax.
• Brass: For texturing wax and base. Also used to remove old base and old wax.
• Horsehair: For all types of wax for the best polish. Use as a final brush-out after a nylon brush.
  
  

Hot-wax instructions:

Choose the right wax for the temperature by looking at the conditions on the mountain/snow report... (the actual snow temperature, not the air temperature).

Press the wax against the iron and let small drops fall down the entire length of the base. Do NOT allow the iron to smoke!

Slowly pull the iron over the wax drops and iron them out into a smooth layer covering the entire base from tip to tail.

Let the wax cool for 10-15 minutes and then scrape with a sharp plastic scraper. Do NOT use a metal scraper.

Use a wax brush or fiber pad to remove excess wax, brushing from tip to tail. This will make your base slide quickly.
